Phoenix Parents Group

Our Mission

It is our mission, to forge a warm family-like relationship, actively encouraging involvement and enabling a sense of belonging. We support and provide resources to staff and students, in order to enhance their school experience. We do this through friend and fund-raising events which create community building opportunities for our families, while in all ways being consistent with the Montessori principles.

Who We Are:

We are an informal group of parents that meets on a monthly basis and when needed. We are open and welcoming to everyone and see ourselves as partners and a sounding board for our school’s staff. We help raise money for the students’ wish list, such as library books, guitars for the music program, outdoor activities and sports equipment.

What We Do:

In the past, we have initiated and supported our staff and children in a broad variety of events and activities, such as:

• Cabaret Night
• Family Skating Party
• Bowling Fundraiser
• Family Pizza Bingo Nights
• Fundscript Giftcard Fundraiser
• Family Picnic

We have also arranged for guest speakers on topics of interest to parents, such as:

• Healthy nutrition
• Age appropriate reading material
• Naturopathic medicine
